Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Virginia loses expulsion case
Brethren
If you have wondered like me, why the MW Grand Lodge of Virginia (our Mother Grand Lodge) has remained curiously silent on our issue, perhaps this will explain why? LINK
It seems they have been silently engaged in a similar lawsuit and in September 2009 were ordered by a Civil Court to reinstate a member who was illegally expelled.
Brethren this is not a rumor or an opinion, it is fact.
A court was willing to tell a private organization that they must follow rules and be fair. It is my belief that the same will happen here!
Keep the faith!

I pray our current Grand Master does the right thing and pulls us out of this nose dive before things get worse. He has all the power right now and can be the one that starts the healing process and restore us to our former glory.
Reinstating Frank, Justin, and Dick wouldn't be seen as Grand Master Riley believing that Charlie and Chuck are wrong. It would be seen as Grand Master Riley believing in true brotherhood and acting as the wise King Solomon would have.

I took the liberty of sending your GS a copy of ruling and a copy of the transcript of the court case. Of course I have not heard anything from him.

It is my understanding that Most Worshipful Haas has returned to Masonry in a lodge in Stubenville Ohio! That he will soon recieve the 3 degrees with the Grand Master of Ohio Present. Is this true? ( This info was recieved from a member of that lodge, and confirmed by emails sent out to it's members to be there for the ceremony)

At risk of using a cliche' I can neither confirm nor deny what is or is not happening in Ohio. I can offer my opinion for the $.02 that it is worth. "IF" the largest Grand Lodge in the world was willing to step out on the line and do their part to make things right, why wouldn't Greg Riley see that his Grand Lodge was in the wrong?
As for me, I hope it comes true. Frank Haas was one of the best Grand Masters that we have had and is still a Mason where it counts .. his heart. And Charlie Montgomery will never have the power to undo that.
Time will tell as to the rest of the story.....

Frank was one of the best in the Seat of Solomon as well. I look forward to sitting in lodge with him again.

Is it true they threatened to expell those who attend the initiation on Saturday?
16/12/2009, 17:47
More threats, more harassment. What a let down.Maybe I'll attend and fill out a petition while I'm there. West Virginia - the Communist China of Freemasonry.

I would urge patience and perseverance brethren. Just like communism, this too shall pass. The wall is crumbling and no one person Grand Master or otherwise will be able to stop it. The real trick is to be the Leader who can guide us past all this and into the new world of Masonry that exists all around us. Are you listening Greg or Randy?

Here is hoping that you brothers in West Virgnia and Ohio find all the joy of the season to be with you.
In Illinois, we wish only the best for these three men and hope to soon be able to call them, as we do you, brothers. Though there may be a physical distance your best spiritual welfare is our genuine wish. Peace on Earth. Good Will.
Masons are notable for the resoltuions we make and to which we ascribe. Let us make a few for the New Year, that include peace and harmony for all and the dream that progress for Masonry such as those stated in your "Wheeling Reforms" breathe a newness of life that we all may revitalize in the next decade.

Happy New Year All!
Things are looking bright in Ohio!
Now that we are Free from the legal brew ha ha. and hopefully the Grand Lodge of Ohio will keep their passions within due bounds, and go away and leave these young masons alone!
Freedom of Conscience should rule Free Masonry, not obligated slaves!
