Brethren,
Why did you become a Mason? Was it because of a proud Masonic legacyin your family? Was it because a man you admired in the work place, or in the service of our country was a Mason? Was it because you found yourself out of step within the current moral and social paradigm, and sought a place where you might fit in? Was it to network, and make new friends? Was it because you had a personal theology that had nochurch, but you still sought to connect to, and serve God, and your fellow man? Did you want to join purely to get to the Shrine?

Brethren,
Thank you for your continued support. Our numbers are
growing. There is no region of our state that is not represented. Subscribers to this e-mail now range from the
newest made Master Mason, to many high profile, well known Past Masters, all
offering support not just to me, but to each other, and to the pursuit of True
Light in West Virginia Masonry.
I have received two e-mails, which , although supportive,
asked the the very valid question "How can you be sure that the e-mail
from our Grand Master really was from him and not someone posing to be
him?" (More)

Brethren,
As you have noticed, I have switched e-mail services. I
received a G-Mail account from one of my subscribers and I find it much easier
to manage the massive amount of correspondence with it. All future e-mails will
come from this address.
Thank you for your overwhelming support, and thank you
for sharing your thoughts on Masonry in the Mountain State. Here is what a few
of you have said: (More)

This past Grand Lodge, a great blow was dealt to
Freemasonry in West Virginia. Sixteen progressive proposals that would have
aided to not only the sustenance of, but growth of our great Fraternity, were
struck down only weeks after being passed by an overwhelming majority. (More)
